Update and HW for 9/12
Today our classes watched a brief segment of a United Streaming 9/11 video and wrote a reaction using the school-wide writing module -- Jane Shaffer. It is amazing these students were in 3rd grade and many of them remember when they found out about the attacks! We also finished our cause/effect charts and begin to analyze Mayan city-states like Copan using digital pictures of Mayan ruins in both Mexico and Honduras.
HW -- Read p. 22-24 and write an original sentence using each new vocabulary word from the reading. (Vocab words are in blue). Please write in History Journal.
Good Luck!
