Home assignment for 9/7

Greetings!

Our class received their new text today (9/6) and should cover them for tomorrow (9/7). Also due tomorrow is the completed text scavenger hunt found on page xix in the beginning of the book. Please write in full sentences on a loose-leaf page. This is a great reading strategy that will help students familiarize not only with the content of the course, but with the structure and presentation of this new text. Students began this assignment in class.

In general, we are beginning the study of the first peoples to enter the Americas. We will be looking as several different theories of migration through the lens of archeology, artifacts, global climate changes and nomadic lifestyles.

Be well and good luck!

Mr. Wells
